A cup of tea

Our daughter has been visiting us over the holidays. She left this morning and is safely back home. Last night as we were drinking tea after dinner, I liked the look of this teacup and wanted to take this picture.

The cup and saucer were manufactured by Universal Potteries, and I think this pattern was produced in the forties and fifties. They produced two windmill patterns, and I have some of each. This is the one I like better. I think it's a very sweet pattern.
